Most people will tell you Real Estate is about property. But for me, it’s always been about people — their stories, their next chapters, their big decisions. And truth be told, this isn’t just a job for me. It’s a long-term, forever kind of chapter in my life. I’m here until closing hours every day because I absolutely love what I do.
Clients often describe me as honest, easy-going, knowledgeable and down-to-earth. But more than anything, I’m told I care and that I stick by my clients right through to the end. That’s the part I’m most proud of.
Since arriving in Albany in 2020, I’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing people and build a strong foundation in the local market.
My journey to Australia has been full of life experience. I grew up in a small country town in Cheshire, UK, then headed to Western Canada as a young bloke chasing adventure. I hiked the Rockies in summer, skied through winter, and soaked up as much of life as I could.
Eventually I returned to the UK, met my wife Mary-Anne, and followed her back to Australia. After a few years in Queensland, we made the move to Albany; a place she had always loved. We knew straight away it was the perfect place to raise a family. I stepped into Real Estate not long after, and the rest, as they say, is history.
My whole team at Elders Real Estate are fantastic. The administration department is outstanding and streamlines allowing me to have more face-to-face clients’ meetings.
I focus on lifestyle and residential sales, working with everyone from local families to interstate buyers and overseas investors. Clear communication and a tailored approach are at the heart of everything I do, and I’m always looking for ways to lift the experience for my clients.
Now, as Mary-Anne and I settle into life with our young daughter, I feel more inspired than ever to go the extra mile. Real Estate isn’t just a transaction. It’s a moment in someone’s life. And I’m here to make sure that moment counts.
