Neels work is focused on residential properties in Albany proper, but his love of lifestyle properties and business also sees him roaming the greater Albany area servicing small lifestyle commercial properties, from Denmark to Mount Barker to Manypeaks.
Neels is an experienced business owner with an established large business in his original home, South Africa. His experience and character bring a very businesslike approach not only in communicating property attributes to buyers, but also in the process of listing a property for sale for the vendor.
As well as cracking Elders top 100 agents in Australia in many months, Neels is the recipient of an esteemed ‘One Elders’ award, for the support he gives not only to his team, but also to his clients. For Neels the biggest reward is every time one of his clients is satisfied with the work he has done for them.
Neels says:
“I love the challenge of helping vendors sell their homes; of listening to buyers’ wants and needs and helping them to see the value of the properties they look at, and how it will fit their family and become their new home. One of my proudest moments was when I had my very first sale, which also turned out to be the first property I listed. The property had been on the market for a long time by the time I took it on myself. The seller felt she had not received really honest feedback before, and our rapport allowed her to make some changes that gave her a great outcome. Most importantly this allowed her to move on, and she was able to support her father at an incredibly important time, just after her mother had passed away. This story sounds a bit sad, but sellers generally come to us during momentous points in their lives, and there is nothing better than being able to help.”
